at the M&IT Awards
The 39th M&IT Awards were a night to remember. A Champagne reception, an amazing dinner and plenty of dancing, plus Katherine Ryan on hosting duties.
But the best bit? Winning not one, not two but three awards across our collection.
We picked up Gold, Silver and Bronze awards:
• Gold - Best Hotel Brand - The QHotels Collection
• Silver - Best UK Hotel - Oulton Hall Hotel, Spa & Golf Resort
• Bronze - Best UK Conference Centre - Chesford Grange Hotel
We’re incredibly proud of the teams behind each win. From finding the right spaces and sorting the tech to creating delegate menus and making every guest feel welcome, they’re the people who turn plans into brilliant events.
Oulton Hall Hotel, Spa & Golf Resort, Yorkshire
It’s easy to see why event organisers love Oulton Hall. Based within easy reach of Leeds centre, our stunning manor house is surrounded by gorgeous grounds and an impressive championship golf course, perfect for team building.
Take your pick from seven adaptable event rooms, designed to host everything from board meetings to team building days, product launches and galas. The stately Oulton Suite hosts up to 220 guests.
Afterwards you can relax in the Champagne Bar, enjoy dinner in the restaurant and get a good night’s sleep in one of our comfortable rooms.
Chesford Grange Hotel & Spa, Warwickshire
It’s easy to see what makes Chesford Grange such a strong conference venue. Our purpose-built, self-contained conference centre has everything you need for a great event.
The Kenilworth Suite hosts up to 700 guests, making it ideal for conferences, exhibitions, or corporate celebrations. The layout can flex to your needs and there’s a private bar, perfect for breakouts and post-event drinks.
Elsewhere, there are 10 other event rooms to choose from, ranging from the intimate Keats, perfect for smaller meetings of up to six people, to the spacious Stratford Suite which hosts up to 180.

For us, the biggest win of the night was Best UK Hotel Brand. All 18 hotels & resorts in our collection offer an exceptional experience for events big and small. Each one has its own setting, character and personality, but there are some things you can count on wherever you choose.

Often referred to as the meeting and events industry’s Oscars, the M&IT Awards are designed to recognise the creativity and resilience of the people and businesses within the hospitality sector.
Only UK-based event organisers are able to vote in the majority of the 19 categories, so the people deciding the winners are those who really know their stuff - making winning even more valuable.
