Nomination Process

It is the General Managers’ responsibility to encourage their line managers to nominate members of their teams across the relevant categories.

They should support their line managers in writing up the nominations to ensure they show and tell great stories which will capture the full attention of the Judging Panel(s) as well as ensuring the simple guidance on what to include in the nomination is followed.

There is no limit as to how many nominations a Hotel/Department might wish to make from the same team. All we would say is, make them count. The reality is that not everyone can be in the spotlight at the same time.

We welcome nominations from the central Senior Managers too who wish to recognise hotel team members that they have seen great achievements from. It is great to see acknowledgement reciprocated when it will be our General Managers who recognise your team’s efforts in the Central Support category

Whilst we do not expect a photo to be submitted with nomination, we will be asking for a good quality photograph of team member who are shortlisted to attend the Awards evening. Our preference is for an action shot in their work environment rather than any sort of staged effort with a forced grin.

All nominations must be submitted by 12pm Monday 6th February 2023 by email to
