Walking

Northumberland is well known for its glorious countryside and what better way to explore it than on foot.

Sailing

Just over 5 miles away in the heart of the valley is Derwent Reservoir. With a thousand acres of open water take to the waters and enjoy water sports such as windsurfing and sailing. With the landscape ablaze with purple heathers and conifers, it simply doesn't get any better. Derwent Reservoir Sailing Club is situated on the north shore and caters for the novice and the competitor.
