Family Days Out

Day One
Visit 'The Deep' the worlds first and only 'Submarium'. Located in Hull, just a short drive over the spectacular Humber Bridge, The Deep is home to over 3,500 species of fish including Sharks and Rays plus educational exhibits of the world's oceans.

Day Two
Visit 'Pleasure Island' theme park in near by Cleethorpes, packed with white knuckle rides and entertaining family shows.

Day Three

Take a short drive to the seaside towns of Mablethorpe, Bridlington or Skegness. Enjoy these traditional British seaside towns with Blue Flag Beaches and make sure you dig into some great Fish & Chips.

Idyllic Day Trips for Nature Lovers

Day One
Visit 'Waters Edge', nestled on Barton upon Humber's waterfront with spectacular views towards the Humber Bridge. There are several stunning walks that take you along the edge of the Humber estuary and into the lakes and reedbeds of the nature reserve featuring bitterns, kingfishers, water voles and array of other species of wildlife. It's some of the country's best bird watching!

Day Two
Mablethorpe Seal Sanctuary is a fully functional recuperation unit nursing dozens of seals and other wildlife. Lincolnshire has biggest breeding colony of Grey Seals in England, where about a thousand pups are born every winter.

Day Three
The lush 'Ancholme Valley', where wrought iron, stone and wooden bridges cross the slow flowing river, is a paradise for walkers, ramblers and lovers of nature.


Sites & Culture Excursions

Day One
Spend a day in the historic city of Lincoln and take in the fantastic sites of the Cathedral which was used in the 2005 film the Da Vinci Code, it's Castle built under the rule of William the Conqueror and 'The Collection' , Lincoln's fantastic new museum of art and archaeology.

Day Two
Enjoy a day at Normanby Hall Museum and Country Park featuring secret and sunken gardens and an award winning Victorian walled kitchen garden.  There are plently of gentle walks for the whole family that meander through woodland and the deer park. In the afternoon visit the beautiful market town of Beverley, just a short drive across the Humber featuring a beautiful minster and market square.

Day Three
Why not finish your break with a shopping trip to Meadowhall. Just a 30 minute car journey to one of the UK's largest shopping centres with all the high street names available under one roof.
