AA Hotel Group of The Year 2014-15 QHotels has launched a new children's menu to meet the growing demand from parents for healthier kids food.

The new menu features a wider selection of dishes for children under 12 and was developed alongside feedback from QHotels Family Ambassador Sarah Christie.

Little ones can choose from starters, main courses and desserts, including cherry tomato bruschetta, baked salmon fingers and fresh fruit and berry salad. The menus are printed alongside a series of puzzles and crayons to keep children entertained at the table.

Research carried out by QHotels showed children's food and drink menus (60%) topped the list of things parents think are important for hotels to provide, ahead of special offers allowing kids to go free (55%) and a games room or children's club (41%).

This summer, every child staying at a QHotels hotel will also get a voucher for a free milkshake on check-in which they can redeem during their stay. The new children's menu is now available at all 26 hotels within the QHotels group.

Claire Rowland, Marketing Director at QHotels, said: "Our new children's menu has been carefully designed to please parents and kids alike, with a range of classic dishes and simple versions of grown-up favourites.

"We've rolled out the new menu across all the hotels in our group to create consistency and give parents the peace of mind that no matter which venue they visit there will be something their whole family will enjoy.

"Working with our Family Ambassador, Sarah, has helped us see where we can provide an even better service for families and we're excited about the new additions we will be announcing in the coming months."
