Forest Pines Hotel and Golf Resort Appoints New Director of Golf

In his new role, Tim is responsible for driving awareness of the resort's outstanding golf facilities and embedding the high levels of service that the QHotels group is known for. His role will involve ensuring each guest has a unique experience to suit their own abilities, utilising the golf facilities at the resort for a memorable and fulfilling visit.

Forest Pines Hotel and Golf Resort boasts one of the best championship golf courses in the country, offering 27 holes nestled in 190 acres of beautiful North Lincolnshire countryside. The course was voted as a 59 Club's 'favourite course to play' in theUKand features within the Top 100 UK courses. The Golf Resort has hosted prestigious tournaments including The Royal and Ancient Boys Home Internationals.  

A Professional Golfers' Association qualified golfer himself, Tim brings a wealth of valuable experience from within the golf industry to his new role. He gained significant industry knowledge whilst progressing through the ranks at prestigious golf resort The Belfry,West Midlands; managing the full remit of golf operations including a golf academy and large scale corporate golf events.

Speaking about his new role, Tim said: "QHotels has a fantastic reputation for providing a customer centric service throughout all of its operations and I am looking forward to this element of my new role. The golf industry in the UK has never been more exciting with the Ryder Cup taking place in Scotland this summer and my new role will enable me to drive the golf offering at the resort forward. I would be lying if I said I wasn't also excited about conquering on the course myself.

I am also looking forward to working with our resident golf professional Dan Greenwood to support guests in progressing and developing their golfing skills, no matter what experience they have,  and enjoying the sport in the unforgettable surroundings offered by the resort."
