The Stratford's Charity Bike Ride

The team at The Stratford hotel in Stratford-upon-Avon took it turns to pedal on a fixed bike in the hotel.

The challenge in aid of the mayor's charities, was kicked off by the mayor himself, Cllr Keith Lloyd, who did a 15 minute session.

Guests donated during the challenge and the staff at The Stratford also collected sponsorship money.

The hotel raised a total of £500 to donate to the charity.

Matt Shakespeare, Operations Manager at The Stratford said ''As a hotel in the heart of Stratford we felt it was important that we supported charities which are close to the community and do fantastic work in enhancing the quality of lives for the people they are involved with.''
