Homemade Lemonade

It's easy peasy lemon squeezy!

Our simple 4 ingredient recipe

We don't think you can beat a classic lemonade for a refreshing drink in the garden! Why not try our recipe for yourself:

INGREDIENTS

1 cup granulated sugar

1 cup water (for step one) & 2 to 3 cups cold water (for step three)

5 unwaxed lemons

Ice

METHOD

STEP ONE: Place the sugar and water in a saucepan and bring to a simmer. Stir so that the sugar dissolves completely and remove from heat.

STEP TWO: While step one is heating up, take this time to juice your lemons. Make sure to watch out for the pips!

STEP THREE: Pour the juice and the syrup sugar water made in step one into a serving pitcher. Add 2 to 3 cups of cold water and taste. Add more water if you would like it to be more diluted (though note that when you add ice, it will melt and naturally dilute the lemonade).

STEP FOUR: Refrigerate 30 to 40 minutes.

SERVING SUGGESTIONS

Serve with ice, sliced lemons. If the lemonade is a little sweet for your taste, add a little more straight lemon juice to it.
