Inspired by research showing a shift towards younger
professionals entering the events industry, in 2016 we launched the
QHotels Event Profs Panel. The aim of the panel is to bring bookers
and organisers with less than five years' experience together, to
help shape the future of the industry.
Our panel has attracted young professionals from major agencies
and corporates within the events industry and our discussion
findings have already grabbed the attention of the media and
industry bodies, such as the HBAA.
Our panel members meet up regularly at QHotels to share their
opinions on the industry's big issues, from attracting and
retaining talented people and developing a career in events to
tackling the industry's perception issues.
Interested in joining the panel?
We believe that with more voices, we can make greater
change and welcome event profs with less than five years'
experience to join the Event Profs Panel throughout 2017. So
if you work in events and are interested in having your say in the
future of the industry, please drop us a line. Email us
here to join.
You can read all about our Event Profs' views and the outcomes
of our recent roundtable events in the reports below - which
we hope will now encourage wider discussion and debate across the
