The birthplace of Marks & Spencer, the home of Cluedo's creation and one of Lonely Planet's top five cities to visit in 2017, Leeds is the perfect location not only for leisure visits but for conferences and events, too.

Leeds is just over two hours from London by train, and is situated off the A1, M1 and M62 making the city easily accessible for those coming from Scotland, Manchester, Sheffield, Newcastle and Nottingham.

The Queens, our city centre venue, has stood proudly over Leeds City Square as a cultural landmark since 1937. Adjacent to Leeds train station and with the added benefit of on-site valet parking, the hotel couldn't be easier to get to.

The hotel offers striking Art Deco opulence throughout its event spaces and public areas, and is suitable for a variety of events, from small meetings of six to awards dinners and conferences of 500.

Recent investment into 12 of the 16 meeting rooms has resulted in the installation of high-end AV facilities, new furniture and decoration. The venue's largest event space, its Queens Ballroom, is a magnificent 513m2 and has received £100,000 investment in redecoration and carpeting, ensuring delegates feel as grand as the ballroom itself.

Just 15 minutes away from the city centre, Oulton Hall can be found nestled within the beautiful Yorkshire countryside. A grand 18th century mansion with 152 bedrooms, nine meeting rooms and plenty of outdoor space for teambuilding activities, the hotel is ideal for residential events, especially when paired with the 27-hole golf complex and a state-of-the-art spa with ESPA treatments.

For those staying overnight, a drink in the Champagne Bar, which lists over 50 Champagnes on its menu, provides an air of exclusivity. This can be extended into dinner, with private dining and a tailored butler service.
