Heading towards its third year, our Event Profs Panel was
established following research showing a shift towards younger
professionals entering the industry. All 14 current panel members
have less than five years' industry experience and are employed by
major agencies and corporates, including Gorkana, Tebays,
First Choice Conference & Events, ArrangeMY, Brief2Event and

Duncan, who has a degree in business management and
communication, is a graduate of BMW's four-year apprenticeship
programme and has been in his event management role for six

gives me a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable insights into key
industry issues and to share opinions and views with other event
profs from around the UK," he said.
The research and findings from the panel's regular roundtable
events are making an impact within the industry, attracting the
attention of a range of organisations, including the HBAA and the
Institute of Event Management (IEM).
Key industry issues discussed by the panel include career
development, technology and changing trends in banqueting.
