What do I do if I lose my ThankQ Rewards card?

If you misplace your ThankQ Rewards card, please call 0845 074 0050 or contact us via email as soon as possible. Our team will take down your request for a replacement card and block the lost card number.

Please note, we cannot guarantee that we will be able to transfer points from one card to another, but will do our best to transfer them for you.

What happens if I can't log into the online area or have forgotten my password?

You will need to enter the email address you have registered with your online ThankQ Rewards account to reset your information. Please note, if you haven't signed in online previously to your ThankQ Rewards account your first time password will be THANKQ.

How do I collect my points?

Once you have received your ThankQ Rewards card through the post, all points you have earned during your stay will be automatically added to your account within 24 hours of checkout.

How long will it take from checkout to add ThankQ Rewards points to my account?

Please allow 24 hours for your points to be credited to your account. If after 24 hours your account hasn't been credited, please contact us via email.

Do I need to mention to Reception that I am a ThankQ Rewards member?

No, we know who you are and your points will be added automatically to your account.

Can I have points backdated automatically for previous stays?

No problem at all. If you think you have some points missing from your account, please contact us via email.

How do I check that my points have been automatically updated?

Please log in to your ThankQ Rewards account and view your points total online. If you haven't registered online previously your first time password will be THANKQ. You will then be asked to fill in more details including future password and email address. Once this has been completed you will be able to view your account and current points total.

Can I use the express check-out service and still receive my points?

Yes, you can still continue to pay and use the express check-out method for payment of your bill, we know who you are so your ThankQ Rewards points will be added automatically to your account.

What happens if my bill is charged back to my company? Do I still receive my points?

No, you will need to pay your bill personally to be eligible for ThankQ Rewards points for your stay.

Do I receive points on room hire or an in-house meeting?

If you add the cost of meeting room hire to your bedroom account to settle on departure then yes, you can claim points on your meeting.

If you are a conference organiser and are staying in-house, you cannot collect points on the total cost of your event. You can however still claim points against your own bedroom reservation. If you want all your delegates to benefit during their visit and they are frequent business travellers, please encourage them to sign-up online or at Reception.

Do I receive points on leisure stays?

Yes, you receive points on leisure breaks and personal stays. When you join ThankQ Rewards, we validate your application to ensure you are eligible to join the scheme.

Once you are a ThankQ Rewards member, you receive points every time you stay with us - whether business or pleasure!

Can I be a member of ThankQ Rewards and Breakaway Club?

Yes. As a Breakaway Club member you can access our very best rates and exclusive offers throughout the year. Stay with us on a fantastic rate, alone or with the family, and you can still claim your ThankQ Rewards points as usual.

If I use my ThankQ Rewards points to pay for my stay, do I still receive points?

No - if you use accumulated points to pay for your entire stay, you will not receive any points back.

However if you use your points for part-payment or to pay for an element of your visit, you will be able to claim new points against the balance of your stay, i.e.

  • Your bill = £100
  • Part-payment using 1000 points = £10
  • Remaining balance = £90
  • Credited to your account = 180 points

I am a regular accommodation booker, can I have a ThankQ Rewards card even though I don't stay?

QHotels runs a separate reward and incentive scheme specially designed for direct accommodation organisers. Please contact your account manager or hotel contact for more information.

My ThankQ Rewards card has been 'declined expired.' What do I do?

This happens if no points have been redeemed for 12 months. You will need to send an email to [email protected] and a new card will be ordered for you. This will provide you with a completely new card number, which will need to be registered online. Points can be transferred from the old card to the new card, however it is your responsibility to let us know your points balance so it can be transferred. Your points balance can be found by logging in here
