Our five favourite proposal photos

We had no idea grooms-to-be were such a creative bunch!  As our Wedding Co-ordinators become inundated with enquiries from newly engaged couples after a romantic festive engagement, our conversations naturally turn to proposals.

A quick search online revealed some truly inspirational photos of proposals which we whittled down to our favourites and which we're bringing to you as #SheSaidYes

Day 1: How's this for a view?  We were impressed by this photo's striking setting and because, although they were clearly accompanied by a photographer, it shows such an intimate moment between this couple.

Day 2: The surprise element of this proposal and the look of anticipation on this couple's faces make this a winner.  Unusually, it also shows the moment just before the proposal, which we loved.

Day 3: A hugely popular image within the QHotels marketing team - who could possibly resist?  Although the potential for this photograph to have gone wrong seemed high, bringing family pets into the proposal moment was a popular trend across the proposal photos we found.

Day 4: A photo that really tells a story‚Ķ although we don't see the couple involved, the planning which went into this one makes this proposal so touching.  We loved the thought that the bride-to-be was a part of the proposal as she ran along the streets, but had no idea until the big reveal at the end of her run.

Day 5: Selected for its cuteness value alone, along with pets being part of the proposal, involving children was also a popular trend. We love this little one's T-shirt!

We also spotted that a lot of proposals were very creative in their use of props.  So, we're sharing on Facebook and Twitter the photos showing our favourite proposal props.  We hope you enjoy them, and maybe even find some inspiration!
