With Spring upon us, we have come up with our top spa tips to get you ready for the brighter, (hopefully) warmer months!

The tips have come from our fabulous spa at The Park Royal, Cheshire.

  • Dry body brush daily using a natural bristle body brush on dry skin. Brush your body each morning before showering to transform your winter skin. Start at your feet and work up towards your heart. Body brushing will help to boost your circulation and smooth the texture of the skin. This is an ideal ritual for improving bumpy skin on the backs of the arms.

  • Exfoliate your body once or twice a week. Massage Espa Exfoliating Body Polish over dry skin, the cooling and invigorating spearmint essential oil will refresh and uplift your senses, whilst the apricot kernel will lift away dry dead skin cells to reveal smooth, radiant skin.

  • Moisturise your body with a rich body butter. Espa Smooth and Firm body butter is a luxurious cream that melts in to the skin to hydrate, tone and smooth the skin. Keeping your skin moisturised through all seasons is key!
     
  • For a radiant glow apply a gradual tan to your skin to give a natural, sun kissed glow. Apply the gradual tan daily or every other day to build up a richer colour. Alternatively, treat yourself to a professional spray tan, these are great to have before a spring holiday or for a special occasion to make you feel confident and have that natural summer glow all year round.
     
  • Treat your hair and scalp to an intensive conditioning treatment. Apply Espa Pink hair and scalp mud to dry hair and scalp, leave this on for 20 minutes or overnight for a more intense treatment, and then shampoo it out. This unique conditioning treatment will promote healthy hair and scalp. It will also stimulate your circulation to leave your hair feeling and looking glossy.

  • Prepare your feet for spring. Use a foot file to remove dry, dead skin from the soles of your feet. Exfoliate with a foot scrub and then apply a rich moisturiser.
