VIP OPENING FOR TOPIARY IN THE PARK - THE NEW RESTAURANT AT THE PARK ROYAL HOTEL
Wednesday 26th July 2006
The evening of Friday 8th September 2006 should be one to remember for 150 members of the local business and social communities of Cheshire, as they join together at The Park Royal Hotel, Warrington for a VIP event to celebrate the opening of the hotel’s stunning new restaurant - Topiary in the Park.
The opening of the new restaurant, bar and lounge marks the end of a second phase of development for the hotel, all part of an overall £3.8m major refurbishment programme and guests will also be able to see The Park Royal Hotel’s newly refurbished reception area and lounge bar.
The event guests, including The Mayor of Warrington, will be able to enjoy the relaxed atmosphere of Topiary in the Park, the 192 seat restaurant that has been styled in a contemporary but classic way, to create a rich feel and a warm & friendly atmosphere.
The evening will start with drinks in the bar from 7.00 -7.30pm, accompanied by the mellow sounds of the saxophone. Guests will take their tables at 8pm for a sit down dinner choosing from Topiary in the Park’s new a la Carte menu. Dinner will be accompanied by live music.
Head Chef Carl Stenson, said of the opening of Topiary in the Park: “This is a really exciting phase in the hotel’s history and I have thoroughly enjoyed working with my colleagues to create a very considered restaurant menu, focussing on extremely well-made classic dishes that customers have told us they want and love. We have then balanced this by offering a range of lighter dishes, snacks and even breakfast items to ensure that there is something to tempt all of our guests, either in the restaurant or lounge.
“Members of the business community can now entertain their clients over breakfast, lunch or dinner – and even afternoon tea. We have also ensured that we have plenty to offer those looking to meet with friends and family including, of course, a great range of drinks, teas and speciality coffees.”
The hotel’s General Manager, Yvonne Jackson, said: “We have really enjoyed introducing our fantastic new facilities to members of the local community and look forward to welcoming many more over the coming weeks and months. We have so much to offer from a range of extensive leisure and dining facilities, to one of the area’s finest conference facilities which we will be updating as part of our final phase of refurbishment.
“We also pride ourselves on delivering fantastic service and creating a great atmosphere and fully expect The Park Royal Hotel to continue as a firm favourite with locals as well as visitors to the area.”
