QHotels Secures Place in Sunday Times Buyout Track 100 for Second Year Running

QHotels has once again ranked in the annual Sunday Times Buyout Track 100 of private-equity backed companies with the fastest growing profits, being placed at number 41, the only hotel operator to feature in the complete list for 2008.

 

Director of Marketing for QHotels, Liz Howe commented: “ This is a fantastic achievement for the group. We are delighted to be recognised again in the results, particularly as the leaders in our field.” She continued, “The ranking is a tribute to the exceptional standard of product that QHotels offers, the hard work of our staff and the high levels of service and innovation that we constantly strive to deliver.”  

 

The Leeds Company was founded in March 2003 by a team of experienced hoteliers in collaboration with venture capitalists Alchemy Partners. Since then the group has rapidly expanded, largely boosted by its £180m acquisition of 12 Marston Hotels in 2006. In addition QHotels has spent over £120 million refurbishing its portfolio.

 

Today, the group comprises of a mix of 21 traditional and new build properties across the UK; with 3,000 bedrooms, over 200 meeting and conference rooms and a combination of specialist offerings from health, fitness and spa facilities, specialist wedding packages to golf facilities for all handicaps.
