QHotels announces the launch of private GDS label ‘QH’

The beginning of December sees the launch of the private GDS label, ‘QH’ for QHotels. QHotels is moving from a shared ‘VE’ label through Vantis Corporation to an exclusive ‘QH’ label in order to raise and build awareness of the QHotels brand within the business house agencies and on the Global Distribution Systems.
The QH label will provide generic branding and identities for the properties within QHotels portfolio and provides consistent branding across all channels to raise customer expectations of locations and properties. The implementation of the QH chain code coincides with QHotels connecting directly to the 4 GDS channels whilst launching a transparent pricing structure.
An on and off line marketing campaign will support the change over and run through December 2005 to January 2006. So from 5th December 2005, to book a QHotel on the GDS systems use the new code ‘QH’.
