New Recruits at Norton Park

Paul Beswick – Operations Manager
Paul joined Norton Park in July 06 as Operations Manager coming from the De Vere Group of Hotels where he has worked for the last six years. His latest role was part of the opening team for the Village Bournemouth Hotel as Operations Manager. Prior to this Paul worked at the flagship Hotel the Belfry where he undertook Conference and Banqueting consultancy work which included introducing a policy for all the performance standards and operating procedures.
Within his experience includes running large international events at Silverstone, Ascot, Cheltenham and the Ryder Cup in 2002.
Paul is really looking forward to getting his teeth into the fantastic new facilities that are coming to Norton Park and working with the existing team to take the Hotel to the next level.
Jason Weston – Banqueting Manager
Jason joined Norton Park in August 2006 as Banqueting Manager, from the Renaissance in Reading where he worked within the Conference and Banqueting Department for five years. Here he gained a wealth of experience in all areas of events and functions ranging from small private intimate dinners to large marquee events for up to 750 guests. Prior to this he lived in Zimbabwe where he decided to pursue a career in hospitality and subsequently moved to England.
Tristan Gentleman – Deputy Front Office Manager
Tristan joined Norton Park in October 2006 as Deputy Front Office Manager coming from the De Vere Grand Harbour Hotel where he had worked for the past 4 years in a range of different positions enabling him to gain a wealth of experience in both food and beverage and front of house operations. Tristan began his career in hospitality over 10 years ago working for a mixture of corporate, leisure and conferencing hotels.
