New Golf Buggies Unveiled at Aldwark Manor
Monday 30th April 2007
The beautiful Aldwark Manor hotel, near York, has unveiled their new fleet of 10 luxury Golf Buggies courtesy of new owners QHotels.
Aldwark Manor became part of the QHotels group in November 2006 and the new Golf Buggies are the first stage of QHotel’s group wide investment in their expanding golf facilities. QHotels signed an exclusive £400,000 deal with Bradshaws to equip Aldwark Manor, along with Forest Pines Golf and Country Club hotel in North Lincolnshire and Telford Golf and Country Club hotel in Shropshire with the luxury buggies.
The golf buggies will take golfers around the 6187 yards of the par 72 course at Aldwark Manor, which is set in 100 acres of parkland in the Vale of York. The River Ure meanders through the course and, coupled with other water hazards, makes Aldwark a challenge to golfers of all abilities. Facilities at Aldwark Manor also include a putting green, short game area and practice ground.
Nic Oldham, Director of Golf for QHotels says,
“Aldwark Manor is a great addition to the QHotels group. The golf course is fantastic and the new buggies are just the first part of our planned investments that will further enhance the quality of the course and facilities.”
Aldwark Manor now offers the QHotels Classic Golf Break packages, which include three rounds of golf with two nights’ dinner, bed and breakfast from just £215 per person. QHotels Classic Golf Breaks are also available at Forest Pines Golf and Country Club hotel in North Lincolnshire, Hellidon Lakes Hotel and Golf Club in Northamptonshire, The Westerwood in Cumbernauld, near Glasgow, Telford Golf and Country Club Hotel .
Aldwark Manor offers guests an invigorating mix of old and new styles with rooms and facilities split between the traditional manor house and contemporary new wing. QHotels pride themselves on investing in elegant, beautiful and sometimes historic hotels and they are set to announce investment plans for Aldwark Manor very soon.
