Management Makeover at Chesford Grange

General Manager appoints four new members to senior management team.
Joanne Barratt, General Manager at Chesford Grange Hotel, part of the QHotels group has appointed a new senior management team to take the already prestigious hotel to a new level. The new team members are Paul Fenech, Resident Manager; Phil Brampton, Conference and Events Manager; Shelley Booth, Revenue Manager and Matthew Gupwell, Event Sales Manager.
The new management team, handpicked by Joanne Barratt has the task of spearheading and steering the hotel after a £6 million makeover, by the QHotels group, to modernise, restore and ultimately transform this great leisure and business hotel to a top class facility.
To fulfil the role of Conference and Event Operations, Phil Brampton has been appointed, whose previous experience includes three years at the four-star Belfry Hotel. To work alongside Phil, Matthew Gupwell is the Event Sales Manager. Previously Assistant Events Manager at Warwick Castle, Matthew has excellent knowledge of the surrounding area and key local companies.
Paul Fenech has joined the hotel as Resident Manager and has a wealth of experience including four years as Operations Manager at the five Star Imperial Hotel in Torquay.
To complete the team, Shelley Booth has been appointed as Revenue Manager. Shelley was Regional Revenue Manager for Millennium and Copthorne Hotels responsible for 12 properties and is therefore a real coup for the hotel.
