Friends and family enjoyed an exquisite array of tea, sandwiches, cakes and scones in the Lord Mayor’s Suite, followed by an intimate dinner to celebrate Gladys’ 100th birthday.
Gladys said: “I have always loved afternoon tea and today’s extravagant spread has made me feel really special. It is great to be 100 and still be able to enjoy my favourite tradition with all of my family and friends”
