We had a fantastic day! From the very first appointment to
the morning after the wedding the staff could not have done anymore
to make it run as smoothly as it did. No request was too big and
considering we had major allergy sufferers, asked to bring a dog
and make a lot of mess, this didn't phase anyone. The food was
delicious, served by very friendly staff. I would not hesitate to
recommend this venue for any occasion.
We chose the Cambridge Belfry because of the good size function
rooms, the modern interior and the lake area which we thought would
be ideal for our wedding photos. We chose a wedding package to suit
our needs and budget, our wedding organiser was very good at
replying to all of my emails and phone calls, we had lots of
questions which were promptly handled. Leading up to our big day
our wedding organiser made sure she had every detail of the day and
how we wanted the day to run. The actual wedding day ran so
smoothly and the hotel staff were brilliant, all our guests
commented on how good the whole day was, we honestly couldn't fault
a thing. We were given a main contact on the day who dealt with
everything, he organised timings for the meal, photos etc. and told
us where we needed to be next! I would definitely recommend The
Cambridge Belfry for any couple looking for a wedding venue.
The Cambridge Belfry is a lovely venue but what makes this place
exceptional are the amazing staff and the welcoming atmosphere they
create. I held my wedding here and now a month afterwards my guests
are still commenting on how amazing the day was, how great the
staff managed the event and how they can't wait to have another
meal at The Cambridge Belfry. If you want a venue that is
clean and welcoming, food that is cooked and served to a high
standard and staff who really care, then this is a place you should
book! Thank you so much to everyone who made our day as amazing as

Myself and my husband booked our wedding reception at The
Cambridge Belfry 18 months in advance of our big day, the staff
were always happy to help with any questions or queries we had
throughout that time, via email or in person. Closer to the event
the personalised service we received was impeccable and we couldn't
fault it in any way. We were able to organise the day to exactly
what we had hoped for, including personalised drink orders for the
wedding breakfast, which went down a treat with the people in
On the day, the whole wedding party felt looked after by
all of the staff, who made sure everyone was happy and always had a
drink in their hand and a smile on their face. The food was simply
amazing, everyone has since told me on several occasions how nice
it was. My experience as a bride was unforgettable, I didn't have
to worry about a thing. I had full confidence in the team and they
did us both proud. I have been recommending them to everyone that
will listen since! Our main team contacts were Kirsten (who helped
with all the organisation up until the day), she is very friendly,
very efficient and always happy to answer any questions I came up
with. On the day we had both Chris and Stuart who made sure
everything went as planned and we cannot thank all three enough for
giving us the most amazing day.
