July 2014 will see a major first for Stratford-upon-Avon. This
delightful and popular market town, nestled in the picturesque
Warwickshire countryside and steeped in history, will host it's
first ever Home & Garden Show, set in the beautiful grounds of
This exciting show is the brainchild of local BBC Gardening
Presenter (and Stratfordian!), Steve Brookes and interior designer
Stephanie Lester. Their company, Blooming Marvellous Events Ltd, is
organising the event but this will not be one of your
run-of-the-mill, normal home & garden shows. The
Stratford-upon-Avon Home & Garden Show will be different and
special in so many ways!

Following the success of the first Stratford Festival of
Motoring in 2013 we have decided to make this an annual
The Festival will again take place over the May bank holiday
weekend which for 2014 will be Sunday 4 and Monday 5 May.
Organised jointly by StratForward, (the town's Business
Improvement District) and Shakespeare Country, the event will see
more than 300 classic and special interest vehicles on display
throughout the historic town.
The two-day festival which will again feature two "runs" through
stunning Warwickshire and Gloucestershire countryside although the
routes haven't been announced yet.
Following feedback from entrants we have taken on board some of
the suggestions and our plans will include measures to alleviate
some of the issues we encountered in 2013. These together with some
of the new initiatives that we are planning will make the Stratford
Festival of Motoring 2014 even bigger and better than

Stratford Food Festival returns for another year, in a whole
new, revised format, after a successful year at it's new venue in
This year the Stratford Food Festival and Stratford Racecourse
have come together in creating an all new, redesigned event, which
will launch this May,'Stratford Food Festival At the Races!'.
A scaled down, compact and focused food event will take place on
the back of an existing double race meeting weekend in the
racecourses annual calendar.
Two evening race meetings will feature; The AGA Ladies Open Point
to Point Championship Final and The AGA iTotal Control Championship
Hunters Steelechase, with all visitors getting the opportunity to
explore the usual aromas and hustle and bustle provided by some of
the country's best artisan producers in the Food Festival
Races will take place over the Friday & Saturday evening,
Sunday will feature just the food festival. There will be plenty on
offer over this weekend to whet everyone's appetite.
