QHOTELS SHINES GOLD AFTER AWARD WINNING FIRST HALF OF 2014

QHotels is gleaming gold this July after receiving over 39 accreditations and awards in the last 12 months, recognising its exemplary service standards.

Our latest success sees The Oxford Belfry, Chesford Grange, The Stratford, Crewe Hall, Ashford International Hotel and The Westerwood Hotel and Golf Resort retain the VenueVerdict Gold Standard Accreditation, for the second consecutive quarter this year.

It also follows us receiving top honours earlier in the year, VenueVerdict's Gold Standard Group award and No.1 Large Group award, and most recently celebrating industry success with The Midland crowned Group Hotel of the Year at the Caterer and Hotelkeeper Awards 2014.

Only 27 venues in the UK received the Gold Standard Accreditation this quarter, based on how likely event hosts are to recommend a venue for a conference or event. Feedback was collected from 22,000 event hosts and customers across 380 venues, through research conducted by BDRC Continental, the UK's largest independent market research agency.

Not only are we enjoying success with our award wins, but our reputation as a high quality conference and events provider has seen a 164% uplift YOY in conference web enquiries.

We can already see the positive effect this is having on the level of enquiries our team are receiving across the group.

Continually evolving our product, we ensure that the feedback we receive is not only listened to but also put into action, resulting in us achieving 14 points above national average in Net Promoter Score.

James Bland, Client Services Director at BDRC Continental, said: "Achieving and maintaining a Net Promoter Score that is consistently above the national benchmark requires a very high level of performance across the board.  However, the attributes that separate the good from the great are generally the softer, more people-focused elements of service.  Achieving high scores for understanding planners' priorities, having friendly, helpful staff and adopting a flexible and responsive approach will have the greatest impact on brand advocacy, and these are all areas in which QHotels continue to perform strongly."

We're continuing to innovate within conference and events sector, tailoring our offering to reflect changing booker requirements. Most recently, we added free dedicated event broadband internet to our portfolio, offering event hosts live streaming at optimum speed with increased security, to ensure greater flexibility in extending the reach of meetings and events beyond the venue.
