Christkindelmarkt
The fantastic Christmas German Market is back in Leeds this winter with over 35 authentic German traders setting up stall in Millennium Square.
One of the largest and best established German Christmas markets in the UK, a visit to Christkindelmarkt is the ideal way to chase away those winter chills, where you can relax with a warming mug of Glühwein or a traditional German Bratwurst whilst browsing the fantastic range of goods on offer.
The little village of traditional snow capped wooden chalet stalls creates a magical city centre festive wonderland, featuring a wide variety of handcrafted gifts, toys, festive decorations, speciality foods and tempting delicacies. Santa's Grotto on Briggate
Sana has decided to spend some time here in Leeds this winter, which we think is jolly good of him! He has even said that he would love people to drop in and see him on Briggate when he is not busy double-checking his naughty list, that means he is free on a monday to saturday between 10.30am and 7pm and from 10.30am to 4.30pm on a Sunday (Santa likes an early night on a Sunday).

Reindeer Sleigh rides at Kirkgate Market
While Santa is busy on Briggate as explained above, he has stabled his trusty reindeers at Kirkgate Market, and while Santa is away the reindeers can play! They will be offering sleigh rides right up until Christmas Eve. Try not to disturb them on Wednesday afternoons or Sundays though, as they will be taking a well earned rest.
Reindeer sleigh ride simulator is £2 per passenger (plus a carrot if you are feeling generous!)
