Breaks with young children in tow are fantastic for introducing them to new things and creating happy memories. But they're not always as easy for the parents, and while some aspects are pure enjoyment, others can feel like pure stress. Which is why we aim to make the experience as enjoyable for you as it is for your children, by being accommodating, helpful and supportive.

So, Park Royal has deluxe rooms with space for 2 extra beds as well as suites for larger families (supplements apply).  Children aged 15 years and under sharing your room stay for free; you simply pay for their meals. If there's only one adult sharing the room or you have children aged 15 and under in a separate room, they'll be charged at 50% of the adult rate.

We have children's swim times at the leisure club so they can have a good splash about. And, to help you stick to your bedtime routine, children can eat early in the restaurant, as long as you arrange it in advance, or in your room. They can choose half portions of the dishes on our table d'hôte menu, or pick something from the children's menu.

We also have a babysitting service so you can have an grown-ups night out. The agency we use is called the Safehands Network Ltd who has the UK's largest database of experienced child carers and an unrivalled pedigree spanning over 10 years in the childcare industry.

We can either book a babysitter for you, or you can call them direct on.

Swimming pool opening hours for children

Monday to Thursday: 9.30am - 12.00 midday, then 2.00pm - 5.30pm.

Friday: 8.00am - 12.00 midday, then 2.00pm - 6.30pm

Saturday & Sunday: 8.00am - 1.00pm then 2.30pm - 6.30pm

Under 16 year olds must always be accompanied by an adult.

Children may not use the gymnasium, sauna or steam room.
