Weddings at The Oxford Belfry

The Oxford Belfry has been approved by Oxfordshire County Council for the solemnisation of civil marriages.
Your own Wedding Co-ordinator
Once you have made your booking at The Oxford Belfry, one of our Conference and Banqueting Coordinators will be able to provide you with information regarding florists, photographers, cake makers, bands/discos, cars etc. They will of course make arrangements for you if you so require.
Smooth Running
Nearer to the time a member of the Conference and Banqueting Operations team will contact you. This will be the person responsible for making sure that everything runs smoothly during you time with us at The Oxford Belfry. You will be invited to the hotel to meet them and to finalise all of the finer points to do with your special day. We feel that these meetings are very important, as you get to meet your Wedding Manager beforehand and can ensure that no details have been missed.
Red Carpet
The red carpet is laid out for you in the entrance to the hotel ready for your arrival, where your wedding manager will greet you with a glass of champagne.
You are then escorted to your room, where everything will be ready and waiting for you. We will from then on make all necessary announcements for you and aid with the giving out of gifts and flowers as necessary. Of course if you have any last minute requirements we will assist with those as well.

Charges
There is a charge of £150.00 to use the Oxford Belfry as a marriage venue.
Dates and Times
Marriage ceremonies may take place between 12.00 noon and 4.00 pm, on any day of the year with the exception of Christmas Day. It is necessary to make a separate booking with the Registrar - telephone 01865 874702.
Booking and payment
A provisional booking may be placed, subject to availability, and will be held for two weeks, after which a deposit of £1,000.00 is required in order to confirm the marriage date. All deposits are non-refundable.
Facilities
Within the hotel five rooms have been licensed for marriages as follows:
Trinity Suite
Situated on the ground floor with natural daylight this room will seat up to 200 guests.
College Suite
Situated on the ground floor with air conditioning and natural daylight, this room will comfortably seat 300 guests.
Keble Room
Situated on the first floor, this room has air conditioning and natural daylight and can seat up to 40 guests.
Oriel Room
The Oriel Room is situated on the ground floor with air conditioning and natural daylight. The room can comfortably seat 40 guests.
