Civil Marriages at The Cambridge Belfry
The Cambridge Belfry is an approved venue for the solemnisation of civil marriages
Marriage ceremonies may take place on any day of the week including Christmas Day and Easter Sunday, subject to availability (an extra charge may be made for Christmas and Easter weddings). You are required to make the booking with the registrar separately and liaise directly concerning his/her charges, full details can be found on the Cambridgeshire County Council Website
Civil Ceremony
Cost for the use of function room is £400.00 inc.VAT. This includes a flower pedestal.
Within the hotel we have a range of banqueting suites available for weddings:
University Suite
Situated on the ground floor, the University Suite has natural daylight, air-conditioning and opens out onto the terrace, overlooking the lake. This room is able to cater for civil ceremonies, wedding breakfasts and evening receptions.
Maximum capacity for civil ceremony: 130 guests
Maximum capacity for wedding breakfast: 160 guests
College Suite
Situated on the ground floor, the College Suite has natural daylight, air-conditioning and opens out onto the central courtyard. This room is able to cater for civil ceremonies, wedding breakfasts and evening receptions.
Maximum capacity for civil ceremony: 110 guests
Maximum capacity for wedding breakfast: 120 guests
Royal Suite
Situated on the ground floor, the Royal Suite has natural daylight air-conditioning and opens out onto the central courtyard. This room is able to cater for civil ceremonies, wedding breakfasts and evening receptions.
Maximum capacity for civil ceremony: 45 guests
Maximum capacity for wedding breakfast: 60 guests
Magdalene
Situated on the ground floor, the Magdalene has natural daylight. This room is able to cater for civil ceremonies.
Maximum capacity for civil ceremony: 36 guests
From wedding breakfasts to evening receptions, our extensive range of event suites can cater for intimate gatherings or larger parties of up to 160 guests.
All prices quoted include VAT @ 17.5% and are subject to change.
