Blists Hill Victorian Town
Of all the ten museums at the Ironbridge Gorge, Blists Hill Victorian Town is perhaps the most popular.The open-air museum allows visitors to experience an, atmospheric way of Victorian life in the late 1800's. The attractions at Blists Hill include a nineteenth century steam-operated pithead, a Victorian chemist, a squatters cottage, a schoolhouse and a bank, where you can obtain Blists Hills own Victorian legal tender to spend in the towns shops and pubs.

Switch on your imagination in our interactive Design & Technology Centre and discover how good ideas are turned into great products. Find out how a little ingenuity will let you pull a 10 ton locomotive or generate electricity from flowing water. Look at familiar objects with new eyes using the giant X ray machine, build an earthquake proof tower and challenge our robotic arm.

You can sketch out your own bright ideas in the Design Zone and join in one of the range of fun design and make challenges which run through all the major school holidays and watch amazing interactive shows on certain days.

Shrewsbury Visitor Attractions
The town has over 600 listed buildings including the Castle and the Abbey. Relax in beautiful Quarry Park or take a boat trip on the River Severn. You will also find a huge variety of things to see and do in the surrounding countryside.

Royal Airforce Museum Cosford
Set in scenic Shropshire, the Royal Air Force Museum houses world renowned collections of aircraft, engines, missiles and memorabilia in wartime hangars. 

The Severn Valley Railway
The railway operates steam-hauled passenger trains between Bridgnorth, Bewdley and Kidderminster. The best way to see the beauty of the River Severn is from a steam-hauled train on the Severn Valley Railway. The Severn Valley Railway has had its home in the town of Bridgnorth, Shropshire since 1965. Refreshments are available at stations and on most trains. Luncheon trains run every Sunday. The 16 mile long Severn Valley Steam Railway in Bridgnorth, Shropshire hosts a series of special events throughout the year.

Weston Park - Stately Home
The stunning buildings boast as much character as any English castle and the history contains as many stories as any royal home; Weston is surely the most welcoming of all stately homes. 

Open to the public as a visitor attraction or perfect for private occasions, Weston Park offers more that just beautiful gardens, architecture and history.  From the building of the present house in the 17th century and the landscaping of the gardens by 'Capability' Brown right through to hosting the G8 Summit of 1998, the story of Weston is beguiling and enthralling.

Hoo Farm Animal Kingdom
An excellent day out for the family. The farm offers a range of indoor and outdoor activities including sheep steeplechase, a maze and tractor grand prix.  

The Iron Bridge and Toll House
The Iron Bridge, is the true jewel of Shropshire ’s Iron-making past, you can see it spanning the majestic river Severn.
The bridge itself was opened by Abraham Darby III and architect Thomas Pritchard on New Years Day 1781, (having been cast from 1779 onwards) and it became so famous that now the town proudly boasts the name ‘Ironbridge’.
The Toll House on the south side of the iron bridge was originally where people would have paid a toll to cross the bridge. The original prices are still displayed on the wall outside. However today the Toll House houses Ironbridge Tourist Information Centre and a small museum about the history of the bridge.

Coalport China Museum
The museum houses vast displays of two centuries of china, and is home to National collections of Caughley and Coalport porcelain (housed in the original riverside buildings), which were made in the factory from 1796 until 1926 when production moved to the neighbouring county of Staffordshire.

The Museum of the Gorge
The Museum of the Gorge provides an excellent introduction to the valley and its attractions. The museum building was originally a somewhat gothic riverside warehouse where the fine porcelain goods from the Coalbrookdale company began there journey to the rest of the world.   T he museum houses an impressive 40ft scale model of the town, as it was in 1796 and you can use the latest interactive computer technology to discover the environmental effects of the years of industry have had on the Gorge. 

Colbrookdale Museum of Iron
The Museum of Iron tells the story of iron smelting up to the Great Exhibition of 1851 where the Coalbrookdale Company showed off its finest work.   Today the museum houses a collection of particularly fine art casting as a legacy to the great skill and commitment of the Coalbrookdale Company. 

The Darby Houses
At the Darby Houses you'll gain an insight into the gracious lifestyle of the Darby family.
Rosehill House, was one of the homes of the Darby family and their descendents during the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries and many of the rooms are lavishly decorated with the original furniture. Adjacent to Rosehill House is Dale House, which includes the original wood-panelled study, where the great Quaker Ironmaster Abraham Darby III finalised his preparations and plans for the construction of the world’s first Iron Bridge.

Telford Ski Centre
The ski centre offers an outdoor, all weather 85 metre dry ski slope with a nursery slope and ski lodge. 

Telford Steam Railway
Located in the West Midlands, 20 miles west of Wolverhampton, Telford Steam Railway is a preserved railway operated by a small and friendly team of volunteers. 

Oakengates Theatre
