Here at Tankersley Manor we pride ourselves on providing the Wedding, civil or commitment ceremony and reception of your dreams. From your initial enquiry our team are on hand to answer your questions and guide you through the facilities available, assisting you in all you need to make your booking and turn your plans into reality.
Red Carpet
Arrive on the day and you will be greeted on the Red Carpet by your Master of Ceremonies who will be by your side for the whole day ensuring you can enjoy the day and leave all the details to us.
Your drinks reception will be served in your private area where photographs can be taken in the gardens.
Master of Ceremonies
Relax and mingle with your guests, then when it’s time, your Master of Ceremonies will assemble you and your party for the greeting line up, call your guests to order and then take you through into your suite for your Wedding Breakfast.
Your speeches and the cutting of the cake will follow this.
Once the speeches are over, we will ask you to move back into the reception area to allow a speedy refresh of your room ready for your evening reception and entertainment.
Choice of Menus
Your wedding co-ordinator will go though the menus with you, with the focus on your individual needs.
Firstly, you can choose from a range of tempting canapés and drinks packages to suit your occasion. The Wedding Breakfast menus for your day reception are designed for you to either choose from Chef's selected set menus or your own set menu from the Banqueting selector.
For the evening, choose from our wide selection of dishes to create your perfect evening reception buffet.
Reception Suites
The rooms we have for your Reception are the Manor Suite and Tankersley Suite. The Manor Suite is situated in the main hotel and caters for numbers between 60-80 for the Wedding Breakfast and 100-130 for the evening reception.
The Tankersley Suite is in the banqueting and conference centre and caters for day numbers between 95-250 and 130-350 for the evening reception.
Both rooms have their own mature gardens and patio area, which are accessible from your drinks reception area for those special photographs.
Civil Ceremonies
We cater for Civil Ceremonies also and have three rooms available dependant on your numbers: the Wharncliffe, The Fitzwilliam and the Crook Barn.
Fitzwilliam Suite
Situated in the main hotel this light and airy suite can seat 60 guests with additional standing space.
The cost for this suite is £225.00.
The Crook Barn:
A 17th century barn, with oak beams. Tastefully restored and full of character, this room can be used in conjunction with the Tankersley Suite. Comfortably seating 95 guests with additional standing space.
The cost for this room is: £350.00.
Wharncliffe Room
A delightful first floor room benefiting from natural light through windows set in beautiful oak and Yorkshire stone. Stunning oak beams give this room character and charm. Seats 40 guests at a charge of £195.00.
Prices subject to alteration.
Booking and Payment
A provisional booking may be placed, subject to availability and will be held for 4 weeks, after which a deposit of £1000.00 will be required to secure your booking. Full payment of your wedding is payable 21 days prior to your wedding day.
Marriage ceremonies may take place at any time of day between 9.00am and 5.00pm, on any day of the week with the exception of Christmas Day, subject to availability. You are required to make the booking with the registrar separately and liase directly concerning his/her charges.
