Arrival
Arrive at the Tankersley Manor via Junction 36 of M1 and from the A61 towards Sheffield, directions are available from this website.
As you drive into the hotel, turn right and drive onto the turning circle where there is a porterage service. There is a dedicated space on the left hand side of the turning circle and two spaces at the bottom of the left access into the car park.
Reception
As you enter the hotel follow the signs to reception where you will be offered a personalised check in service with an explanation of all facilities together with a familiarisation tour of the hotel.

Bedrooms
Tankersley Manor has two purpose built accessible bedrooms on the Upper Ground floor, these rooms are accessible from the entrance to the right side of reception, which is signposted externally from Reception. The bath rooms are designed with an accessible wheel in shower and wall mounted drop down seat, with appropriate grab rails. Emergency pull cords are located within the bathrooms which activates an alarm at reception. There is a lift available which accesses the bedrooms and Reflections Leisure and Spa.
The windows all accessible with opening catches & Handles on each, in case of difficulty with these please contact reception. Curtains are traditional self pull together style.
In the event of the fire alarm the rooms are equipped with a sounder and visual flashing light. A member of the hotel staff will assist you in the event of an evacuation.
Public areas
The restaurant, non smoking lounge and accessible toilet are all located on the ground floor adjacent to the main reception. The Onward Arms has an accessible ramp from reception and is also accessible from the Conservatory external doors.
Reflections spa and leisure
The leisure club is situated in the lower ground floor of the bedroom building, access to these floors is via the lift adjacent to the accessible entrance. The lift dimensions meet accessibility requirements and have clear signage to each level.
Should you wish to access the lower ground floor via the stairs we will transfer you to our powered mobile stair climber and assist your descent.
A member of the leisure team will show you the facilities and assist with access to the swimming pool and spa, we have an accessible hoist and chair to gently lower you in and out of the pool and spa assisted by a member of the leisure team. A dedicated accessible changing area with shower facilities is available.
The Spa treatment area is fully accessible with all rooms containing electrically operated treatment couches.
Conferences and functions
If you are attending a conference or function, 7 of our rooms are accessible from ground floor access, please refer to the floor layouts in our conference section.
Should you prefer to access other conference rooms on the first floor then we have a powered stairclimber available where our staff will assist you.
