Arrive at the Stratford Victoria following the directions available on the web site. As you drive into the hotel car park through the automatic entrance barrier, the clearly marked dedicated parking space is right next to the front door.
Reception
As you enter the hotel reception is immediately on your left, where you will be offered a personalised check in service with an explanation of all the facilities together with a familiarisation tour of the hotel if required.
Available on request at reception, or to be placed in your room prior to arrival, are the following accessible aids:
- Portable induction loop
- Text phone
- Large button phone
- Large print compendium
- Bathing seat
- Bath step
- Vibrating pad for hearing disability
- Slim line wheelchair
The Stratford Victoria has two purpose built accessible bedrooms on the ground floor. The bathrooms are designed with accessible grab rails around the bath and toilet. We do not as yet offer a roll in shower or wet room.
The windows are traditional handled windows with the top handles left up for easy opening. Curtains are operated by an accessible rod.
In the event of a fire alarm activation these rooms have a sounder, vibrating pillows and a visual flashing light. A member of the team will assist you with your evacuation. Please confirm whether this is required at check in.
Public areas
The restaurant, bars, lounge and accessible public toilet are all located on the ground floor. All public areas of the hotel are located at ground floor level, easily accessible. There are two lifts for access to the other floors if fellow party members are staying.
Mini gym and whirlpool
The mini gym is situated on the ground floor. The whirlpool is currently not accessible to wheelchair users.
Conferences and function rooms
If you are attending a conference or function, all six of our rooms are accessible on the ground floor of the hotel. Portable conference induction loops are available.
