Many Irresistible Choices

There’s an old saying that ‘you eat with your eyes’. Well, it’s certainly true at the Lakes restaurant. In fact, it’s not uncommon for guests to ask their waiter for ‘5 more minutes’ before they order, not because they can’t quite make up their minds (although with a menu as varied and mouth wateringly enticing as ours, it’s never easy at the best of times), but because they want to spend a little longer soaking in the panoramic vista from their table.

Situated in an elevated position at the front of the hotel, the Lakes restaurant offers superb views over our 220 acres of lush grounds and expansive, rush fringed lakes.  It’s a hard to act to follow, but somehow our catering team manage it with consummate ease. The menu offers an irresistible mix of brasserie inspired masterpieces, from a simple fillet steak to a wealth of more eclectic choices, all prepared and presented with a passion that goes beyond mere perfectionism.

And of course, for every delectable dish on the menu, our extensive wine list has a bottle  – maybe even two or three – that will complement it perfectly.
