Civil Marriages and Civil Partnerships
For those wishing to have their marriage conducted in the hotel we have a number of licensed suites for civil & commitment ceremonies, along with versatile banqueting rooms accommodating guests from 50-240, all with breathtaking views across the countryside.
For those who have chosen to hold their ceremony at an alternative venue, we are able to seat a maximum of 250 guests in our Marston Suite for your Reception. Whatever the arrangements - we have the answers.
Tailor Made to Suit You
The hotel has various trusted contacts that may be able to help you with your day, for flowers, musicians, table decorations and entertainment. We want you to feel confident in our abilities to organise this special day on your behalf which will be tailor made to suit your own individual ideas and requirements.

Charges
There is a room hire charge of £300.00 to use a room for your civil ceremony. The venue charge includes all the requirements as specified by the Registrar, and a music system to play your choice of music (approved by the Registrar in advance) during the ceremony. A pedestal flower arrangement and a posy arrangement can be arranged for you by Hellidon Lakes, at an extra cost.
Dates and Times
Marriage ceremonies may take place at any time of day between 9.00am and 5.00pm, on any day of the year with the exception of Christmas Day.
Booking And Payment
A provisional booking may be placed, subject to availability, and will be held for fourteen days, after which a deposit of £1,000.00 is required in order to confirm the marriage date.
Full payment of the balance of the account is due ten days in advance of the marriage, or by deposit instalments.
All deposits are non-refundable.
Facilities
Within the hotel three function rooms have been licensed for marriages as follows:
Holywell Suite:
Seating for 80 guests for a ceremony.
Warwick Suite:
Seating for up to 120 guests for a ceremony
Stratford Suite:
Seating for up to 160 guests for a ceremony.
