The QueensJanuary 200812th January - March 2008 Ice Cube - Millennium Square Get ready to put your skates on once again as we welcome in the New Year and the start of the Celebrate Leeds 2008 festivities with the return of the Ice Cube - the Uk's largest temporary outdoor real ice rink. For an amazing 8th consecutive season, Leeds City Council, 96.3 Radio Aire and the Yorkshire Evening Post are proud to offer people of all ages and abilities the opportunity to experience the magic of open-air skating in the stylish civic setting of Millennium Square. The rink is open daily (weather permitting) from 10am to 9.30pm (10am to 7.30pm on Sundays) including the popular nursery rink which provides a safe haven for children aged 2-8 to find their feet on the ice for the first time! In the meantime, shake off those mid-winter blues, round up all the family and friends, treat the kids and make sure you don't miss out on all the fun at Yorkshire's most popular wintertime attraction. |
