10 Tables Set for Intimacy and Exquisiteness

There are many aspects of Crewe Hall that make us want to fling our arms wide and cry 'ta daaaaaaaaaa', and 2AA rosette winning the Ranulph Restaurant is at the top of the list. In the extravagant and opulent main hall, this extraordinary restaurant's décor and furnishings are quite amazing; not least its privately commissioned, hand-painted wallpaper bearing the Crewe Hall Crest.

If you think you can't take your eyes off the setting, wait until you see the menu, devised around classic dishes, given an extra special Crewe Hall twist.

The chefs like to cook with a little spontaneity, so there are usually a few surprise specials to try to choose from as well.

After dinner, you can walk it off a little around our extensive grounds, retire to the bar for a digestif or take a nightcap up to your room and dream about the delicacies you've just feasted on.

The Ranulph Restaurant is open for dinner on Tuesday to Saturday evenings and for Sunday lunch.  As there are only 10 tables, you may well need to reserve yours in advance. We can open the restaurant for private dining all other evenings and lunchtimes if you organise it in advance.
