Civil Partnerships at Bridgewood Manor

Within the hotel three function rooms have been licensed for Civil Partnership Ceremonies as follows:

Maidstone Suite
The Maidstone Suite has seating for 50 guests for a ceremony only or a maximum of 40 for a ceremony with a wedding breakfast to follow in the Stratford Suite.

Hogerth Suite
The Hogarth Suite has seating for up to 100 guests for a ceremony only or seating for up to 80 guests for both a ceremony and reception.

Hythe Suite
The Hythe Suite has seating for up to 180 guests for a ceremony only or seating for up to 130 guests for both a ceremony and reception.

Civil Partnership ceremonies may take place at any time of day between 9.00am and 5.00pm, on any day of the year with the exception of Christmas Day.

A provisional booking will be made by the hotel and a copy of the Marriage Booking Form will be sent to the Registrar by the hotel upon receipt of the necessary deposit, at which time it becomes the responsibility of the Couple to confirm arrangements and charges with the Registrar.  

Bridgewood Manor had the honour of hosting the first same sex Civil Partnership ceremony to be held in Medway outside a register office, which was held in February 2006.

 

Bridgewood Manor provides the ideal venue for Civil Partnership Ceremonies, we offer excellent facilities and can cater for small intimate gatherings or large celebrations.  Our dedicated Events Team are on hand to ensure that your day of celebrations is perfect!
