Ashford International Hotel Extends Spa and Launches Exclusive Spa Ritual Treatments

With Christmas almost upon us and New Year just around the corner the Ashford International Hotel, part of the four-star QHotels collection, is delighted to announce the launch of four exclusive signature spa rituals and the addition of two extra spa treatments rooms to their award-winning spa and leisure club.

The on-site leisure club, which recently won the silver ‘Members Choice Health Club Award 2011’ for the South East Region, has increased the number of treatment rooms it has available from six to eight to include a dedicated spray tanning room.  Demand for spa treatments in the club has increased in the last six months and the additional rooms will provide guests and members alike with even more opportunity to indulge in a top to toe pampering spa experience.     

As part of a group-wide initiative, QHotels has launched four new signature spa rituals which are exclusive to the 17 spa hotels across the group and follow a £260,000 investment into training and materials for the group’s 224 spa therapists. The unique treatments have been designed exclusively for QHotels and have launched at the Ashford International Hotel just as the run up to the festive season begins in earnest.

“Our leisure club has always been popular with hotel guests and local members but the recent increase in demand for treatments encouraged us to look into how we could offer additional services to our spa users.” said Deirdre Billing, General Manager of the Ashford International Hotel. “The two new treatment rooms give us the opportunity to offer additional treatments and the exclusive Spa Rituals are unlike anything else on the market. They are reasonably priced and they deliver a truly relaxing and luxurious experience, as opposed to a mini or express treatment which is typical for this price range. The festive season can be stressful so we wanted to offer our spa users a range of unique, rejuvenating treatments whilst at the same time providing additional rooms for those looking to indulge in a few finishing touches!”

The Spa Rituals treatments include:  the ‘Relaxing Face and Back Ritual’, the ‘Head and Feet Wake-Up Ritual’, the ‘Fit for Business Back Ritual’ and the ‘All Over Refresh and Revitalise Ritual’. Rituals take 50 minutes and prices start at £45.  Other treatments start from £25 and include a back, neck and shoulder massage, express manicure or express pedicure to name but a few.
