Arrive at Aldwark Manor via either of the hotel’s driveways. You will find two clearly marked dedicated spaces adjacent to the front entrance of the Manor. A ramp will be in place from early morning to assist with the front step and a porter will collect your luggage from your car whilst checking in.
Reception
As you enter into the hotel, reception can be found immediately on your right. You will be offered a personalised check in service with an explanation of all the facilities together with a familiarisation tour of the hotel.

Bedrooms
Aldwark Manor has two purpose built bedrooms on the first floor. Lift dimensions are as follows: door-opening 690mm, depth of lift car 980mm; width of lift car is 1060mm.
One bedroom has a walk in shower unit with a wall mounted drop seat and the other bedroom has a full sized bath and appropriate grab rails.
Public areas
The restaurant, bars, lounges and accessible public toilet are all located on the ground floor.
Reflections Leisure and Spa terrace
Access to these areas is via a set of steps by the restaurant, there is an adjacent lift; dimensions as follows: door opening 690mm, depth of lift car 980mm, width of lift car is 1060mm.
In the event that your wheelchair is wider than the lift entrance a slim line wheelchair is available from reception. Should you wish to access the lower ground floor via the stairs we will transfer you to our mobile stair climber and assist your descent.
A member of the leisure team will show you the facilities and assist with access to the swimming pool. A dedicated accessible toilet, changing and shower area is located adjacent to the leisure reception. A hoist is available if required, to transfer you in and out of the pool.
The sauna and steam room are accessible to wheelchair users. The dimensions of the sauna are as follows: door width 670mm, width across 800mm and 1070mm in depth. Steam room is 1400mm in width, 1300 in length and 670mm in door opening. The spa treatment area is located adjacent to the leisure reception consisting of seven beauty rooms with powered treatment couches to enable a range of treatments to be enjoyed.
Conferences and Functions
If you are attending a conference or function, five of our rooms are accessible on the ground floor of the hotel.
Access to the Yorke Suite, Walsingham Suite and Barnes Wallis situated on the ground floor which are located via the lift adjacent to the restaurant, the lift dimensions are: door opening 800mm, depth of lift car 1.400mm, A Portable Conference Induction loop is available at reception.
The Marston Suite / Aldwark Suite / Holbrook Suite are situated on a lower floor and are accessible via a lift adjacent to the Brasserie Restaurant.
Should you wish to access the lower ground floor via the stairs we will transfer you to our mobile stair climber and assist your descent.
