Our Courses
The Westerwood Hotel & Golf Resort, Nr
Glasgow
This magnificent 18 hole course meanders through silver birches,
firs and heather; but it's as challenging as it is beautiful.
Designed by Seve Ballesteros and Dave Thomas, it's one of
Scotland's best kept secrets. The signature hole, devised by Seve,
is the par 3 15th, known as the Waterfall hole. Hitting from above
to a green surrounded by a 60ft rock face, it's not for the faint
hearted and the undulating moorland greens also put you to the test
over those nervy 4ft putts.
Aldwark Manor Golf & Spa Hotel, Nr
York
The beautiful River Ure meanders through this easy-to-walk course
in the breathtaking Vale of York and makes for some interesting
shots. At the Aldwark Manor hotel you don't have to hit too far,
but you do have to be pretty accurate to get round the 72 par
course, and you'll find lots of risky shots along the way to add to
the challenge.
Forest Pines Hotel & Golf Resort. North
Lincolnshire
At Forest Pines Hotel & Golf Resort, the magnificent 27-hole
golf course meanders through majestic pines and into open
heathland, offering three fabulous loops of nine holes. But don't
be fooled by its looks, it's as challenging as it's
beautiful.
One of the country's premier golf venues, it offers over 10,000
yards of Championship golf. Whatever level you play at, our course
offers a good day. It's hosted the Junior golf championships, the
PGA Super 60s and the Euro Pro Qualifier events for the future
names in golf. The hole to test your metal is the 7th water hole -
we've fished 6000 balls out of the water in one year! But the lucky
hole is definitely the first. It's in the Guinness Book of records
as the scene of the very first hole in one.
Telford Hotel & Golf Resort,
Shropshire
Designed by John Harris and Brian Griffiths, both renowned
architects, this wonderfully picturesque course is challenging for
all levers of golfer, featuring 6741 yards along tree-lined
fairways, through open greens and over strategic water hazards. The
course's signature hole is the 8th. This 382 yard par 4 starts with
a drive which needs to be landed to perfection to miss the two
fairway bunkers, and then negotiates a pond with a beautiful mature
oak tree placed to make the approach shot that little bit more
interesting.
Hellidon Lakes Hotel & Golf Resort,
Northamptonshire
Nestling in the hotel's 220 acres of private grounds, Hellidon
Lakes Golf & Spa Hotel's championship course offers challenges
aplenty for beginners and scratch golfers alike. As you might
expect, many of the 27 holes feature water hazards, albeit with a
choice of challenging carries over, or safer routes around the
numerous lakes; on the par 5 twelfth, for instance, two long shots
over the water can end in triumph or disaster, whereas three shots
along the zigzag route can yield a solid par
