QHotels have teamed up with Golf Care, the UK's largest provider
of specialist golf insurance, to provide visiting golfers* with
free Personal Liability insurance before they commence their round
of golf.
Upon registration in the Pro Shop golfers are required to fill
in a simple insurance form which upon completion provides the
insurance protection for the day's play..
Why have golf insurance at all?
There are over 12,500 golf injuries a year that require hospital
treatment so all golfers should be insured before they step onto
the golf course. The High Court ruled that 'Golfers are liable for
shots that cause injury no matter how slight the risk' so it's
important not to rely on a shout of Fore! the next time you hit a
wayward drive. It could cost a fortune!
Annual insurance
Of course it's not just injury or damage to property that's a
concern. Expensive golf equipment can be lost, stolen or damaged
but this can be covered under a Golf Care annual golf insurance
policy, which for QHotels customers has a 25% discount with
