We are committed to engaging
team members and customers, through their every day acts, at work
and at home.
2011 Achievements
- We improved all GTBS accreditation scores across all
QHotels and head office with 7 Gold and 15 Silver
awards.
- In September 2011, we were named AA Eco Hotel Group of
the Year award at the 2011-2012 AA Hospitality Awards.
- Numerous pieces of local, national and trade PR achieved
on group and hotel CSR and fundraising activities.
- Maintaining a high-level of green employee
awareness and focus.
2012 Objectives
- Further update of induction and
training material to give fully inclusive approach to green
initiatives.
- Continue to explore ways to reduce use of paper within HR
and Training. For example, using the online portfolio tool by QED
training and development programme and producing an electronic
version of our employee handbook.
- Focus on local charity work in 2012, will encourage
further involvement with local communities.
